The Georgetown Eagles basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Glenn Grizzlies to 43 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 12-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marble Falls for a 5A Region IV District 25 contest on Friday, January 21. Georgetown will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 53-26 league loss to Cedar Park (Cedar Park, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-19.

The Grizzlies (13-14) will now prepare for their contest against East View (Georgetown, TX). The Patriots enter the 5A Region IV District 25 contest with a 16-11 record. In their last contest, East View was defeated by Liberty Hill (Liberty Hill, TX), 57-50, in a league contest.
