Minnesota High School Basketball - St. Louis Park nips Waconia
January 18, 2022: St. Louis Park, MN 55426 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the St. Louis Park Orioles (St. Louis Park, MN) and the visiting Waconia Wildcats (Waconia, MN), saw St. Louis Park's basketball squad hold off Waconia by a tally of 65-61.
With the victory, St. Louis Park improves its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Orioles travel to Robbinsdale Cooper (New Hope, MN) to play the Hawks in a AAAA Section 6 challenge on Thursday, January 20. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Robbinsdale Cooper lost 69-41 in their recent league challenge against Orono (Long Lake, MN)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights (St. Louis Park, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 21. Waconia will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Red Knights come into the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 65-57 non-league win over Jefferson (Bloomington, MN).
