January 18, 2023: Amelia Court House, VA 23002 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Thomas Jefferson Vikings (Richmond, VA) and the host Amelia County Raiders (Amelia Court House, VA), saw Thomas Jefferson's basketball squad wallop Amelia County by a tally of 66-34.
With the victory, Thomas Jefferson improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Vikings host Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA) to confront the Wildcats in a Colonial challenge on Friday, January 20. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-11. Deep Run lost 44-41 in their recent league challenge against Freeman (Richmond, VA)
Next up, the Raiders confront the Randolph-Henry Statesmen (Charlotte Court House, VA) in a James River challenge, on Friday, January 20. Amelia County will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Statesmen come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 65-48 league loss to Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA).
