Virginia High School Basketball - Windsor fells Amelia County
December 30, 2022: Windsor, VA 23487 Windsor Dukes (Windsor, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Amelia County Raiders (Amelia Court House, VA), 60-49 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Windsor upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Dukes host Northampton (Eastville, VA) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 3-2.
Next up, the Raiders play the Cumberland Dukes (Cumberland, VA) in a James River bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Amelia County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Dukes go into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 93-69 non-league loss to Buckingham (Buckingham, VA).
