La Serna Lancers (Whittier, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Whittier Cardinals (Whittier, CA), 63-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, La Serna upgrades its record to 19-4 on the campaign. The Lancers host California (Whittier, CA) to play the Condors in a Del Rio bout on Friday, January 20. The Condors come into the bout with a record of 9-14. California won 61-55 in their recent league bout against El Rancho (Pico Rivera, CA)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Santa Fe Chiefs (Santa Fe Springs, CA) in a Del Rio bout, on Friday, January 20. Whittier will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record. The Chiefs come into the bout with a 2-20 record after their 65-48 league loss to California (Whittier, CA).
