Missouri High School Basketball - Marion County can't hold off Scotland County
January 18, 2023: Philadelphia, MO 63463 The Scotland County Tigers basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Marion County Mustangs to 48 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Tigers now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Knox County for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20. Scotland County will battle a Eagles team coming off a 48-47 league win over Fayette (Fayette, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 5-5.
The Mustangs (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Atlanta (Atlanta, MO). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Atlanta was nipped by Schuyler County (Lancaster, MO), 55-53, in a non-league match.
