January 18, 2023: Sandy Spring, MD 20860 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests (Sandy Spring, MD) and the visiting Washington International Red Devils (Washington, DC), saw Sandy Spring Friends's basketball squad wallop Washington International by a tally of 91-23.
With the victory, Sandy Spring Friends improves its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Wildebeests travel to St. Anselm's Abbey (Washington, DC) to confront the Panthers in a Potomac Valley challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 8-5. St. Anselm's Abbey won 50-44 in their recent league challenge against Spencerville Adventist Academy (Spencerville, MD)
Next up, the Red Devils confront the Burke Bengals (Washington, DC) in a Potomac Valley challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Washington International will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record.
