The Washington International Red Devils basketball team scored 38 points and held the host Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles to 36 in the Red Devils league triumph on Thursday.

The Red Devils now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washington Waldorf for a Potomac Valley contest on Saturday, February 4. Washington International will meet a team coming off a 26-22 league win over St. Anselm's Abbey (Washington, DC). The record now stands at 7-3.

The Eagles (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Maryland School for the Deaf (Frederick, MD). The Orioles enter the non-league contest with a 13-7 record. In their last contest, Maryland School for the Deaf nudged Rockbridge Academy (Millersville, MD), 57-41, in a league contest.
