In Wednesday's league match, the host Anacostia Indians basketball team scored a good 47-33 triumph over the McKinley Tech Trainers.

In their next game, the Indians meet the Bowie Bulldogs (Bowie, MD) in a non-league match, on Monday, January 23. Anacostia will attempt to move on its 10-6 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 9-3 record after their 66-6 league win over High Point (Beltsville, MD).
