In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Cherryville Ironmen basketball team scored a good 48-28 triumph over the Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles.

In their next game, the Ironmen meet the Thomas Jefferson Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference 40 match, on Friday, January 20.
