West Virginia High School Basketball - Shady Spring overwhelmed by PikeView
January 18, 2023: Princeton, WV 24740 The PikeView Panthers basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the visiting Shady Spring Tigers to 38 in the Panthers league victory on Wednesday.
The Panthers now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Princeton for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. PikeView will battle a Tigers team coming off a 49-45 league loss to Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV). The Tigers record now stands at 7-6.
The Tigers (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against WestSide (Clear Fork, WV). The Renegades come into the Coalfield AA contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, WestSide was routed by Mingo Central (Matewan, WV), 57-12, in a non-league contest.
