Round Lake Panthers (Round Lake, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Wauconda Bulldogs (Wauconda, IL), 50-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Round Lake upgrades its record to 14-10 on the season. The Panthers host Lakes (Lake Villa, IL) to play the Eagles in a Northern Lake County bout on Saturday, January 21. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-12. Lakes lost 47-45 in their recent league bout against Antioch (Antioch, IL)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Grayslake North Knights (Grayslake, IL) in a Northern Lake County bout, on Saturday, January 21. Wauconda will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 15-8 record after their 46-40 league win over Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL).
