January 18, 2024: Silver Spring, MD 20905 The Blake Bengals (Silver Spring, MD) basketball crushed the visiting Northwood Gladiators (Silver Spring, MD), 74-37 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Bengals (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Clarksburg (Clarksburg, MD). The Coyotes go into the non-league test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Clarksburg was trounced by Watkins Mill (Gaithersburg, MD), 57-56, in a non-league test.
The Gladiators now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Damascus for a non-league test on Friday, January 19. Northwood will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 66-39 league loss to Magruder (Rockville, MD). The Hornets record now stands at 4-6.
