Michigan High School Basketball - Erie-Mason tops Britton Deerfield
January 18, 2024: Erie, MI 48133 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Erie-Mason Eagles (Erie, MI) and the visiting Britton Deerfield Patriots (Britton, MI), saw Erie-Mason's basketball squad knock off Britton Deerfield by a count of 64-51.
With the victory, Erie-Mason upgrades its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Eagles host Loyola (Detroit, MI) to play the Bull Dogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Bull Dogs come into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Loyola lost 43-42 in their recent league challenge against Lumen Christi Catholic (Jackson, MI)
Next up, the Patriots play the Summerfield Bulldogs (Petersburg, MI) in a Tri-County challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Britton Deerfield will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 63-32 league win over Sand Creek (Sand Creek, MI).
