In Thursday's non-league match, the host Brownsville Falcons basketball team scored a good 51-41 triumph over the Jefferson-Morgan Rockets.

In their next game, the Falcons meet the Yough Cougars (Herminie, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 4 match, on Saturday, January 20. Brownsville will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 10-3 record after their 56-34 league win over Charleroi (Charleroi, PA).
