December 11, 2023: Jefferson, PA 15344 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Jefferson-Morgan Rockets (Jefferson, PA) and the visiting Charleroi Cougars (Charleroi, PA), saw Jefferson-Morgan's basketball squad hold off Charleroi by a tally of 46-43.
With the victory, Jefferson-Morgan improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Bethlehem Center (Fredericktown, PA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Bethlehem Center lost 81-77 in their recent non-league challenge against Waynesburg Central (Waynesburg, PA)
Next up, the Cougars confront the California Trojans (Coal Center, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 13. Charleroi will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 65-50 non-league loss to Brownsville (Brownsville, PA).
