Arizona High School Basketball - North can't hold off Camelback
January 18, 2024: Phoenix, AZ 85016 The Camelback Spartans basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting North Mustangs to 53 in the Spartans league victory on Thursday.
The Spartans now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maryvale for a 6A Metro contest on Tuesday, January 23. Camelback will battle a Panthers team coming off a 58-53 league win over Carl Hayden Community (Phoenix, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 9-10.
The Mustangs (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Browne (Phoenix, AZ). The Bruins come into the 6A Metro contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, Browne was nudged by Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ), 42-39, in a league contest.
