January 18, 2024: Jersey City, NJ 07306 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Hudson Catholic Hawks (Jersey City, NJ) and the visiting Union City Soaring Eagles (Union City, NJ), saw Hudson Catholic's basketball squad wallop Union City by a tally of 70-43.
With the victory, Hudson Catholic improves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Hawks host Colonia (Colonia, NJ) to confront the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Sunday, January 21. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Colonia won 64-29 in their recent non-league challenge against South Brunswick (Monmouth Junction, NJ)
Next up, the Soaring Eagles confront the Hillside Comets (Hillside, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 20. Union City will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 57-44 non-league loss to Oratory Prep (Summit, NJ).
