January 18, 2024: Shawnee Mission, KS 66216 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Shawnee Mission Northwest Cougars (Shawnee Mission, KS) and the visiting Pembroke Hill Raiders (Kansas City, MO), saw Shawnee Mission Northwest's basketball squad wallop Pembroke Hill by a tally of 69-35.
With the victory, Shawnee Mission Northwest improves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to North Kansas City (North Kansas City, MO) to confront the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 10-2. North Kansas City won 58-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Life Prep (Park City, KS)
Next up, the Raiders confront the Truman Patriots (Independence, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 19. Pembroke Hill will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 62-53 non-league loss to Blue Springs (Blue Springs, MO).
