Kansas High School Basketball - Saint Thomas Aquinas tops Pembroke Hill
January 5, 2024: Overland Park, KS 66215 Saint Thomas Aquinas Saints (Overland Park, KS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Pembroke Hill Raiders (Kansas City, MO), 54-34 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Saint Thomas Aquinas upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Saints host Blue Valley Northwest (Overland Park, KS) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 7-0. Blue Valley Northwest won 64-53 in their recent non-league bout against Staley (Kansas City, MO)
Next up, the Raiders play the Olathe South Falcons (Olathe, KS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Pembroke Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 53-51 non-league loss to Mill Valley (Shawnee, KS).
