January 18, 2024: Rochester Hills, MI 48306 Stoney Creek Cougars (Rochester Hills, MI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting University Eagles (Ferndale, MI), 59-58 in a league bout.
With the victory, Stoney Creek upgrades its record to 2-8 on the campaign. The Cougars host Royal Oak (Royal Oak, MI) to play the Ravens in a Oakland - Blue bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Ravens come into the bout with a record of 8-5. Royal Oak won 48-33 in their recent league bout against Rochester (Rochester Hills, MI)
Next up, the Eagles play the Pontiac Phoenix (Pontiac, MI) in a Oakland - Blue bout, on Tuesday, January 23. University will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Phoenix come into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 62-52 non-league loss to Berkley (Berkley, MI).
