Wyandotte Bears (Wyandotte, OK) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Welch Wildcats (Welch, OK), 53-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Wyandotte upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Commerce (Commerce, OK) to play the Tigers in a Lucky Seven bout on Friday, January 19. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 3-8. Commerce won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Cave Springs (Bunch, OK)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Cave Springs Hornets (Bunch, OK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Welch will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Commerce (Commerce, OK).
