The Lincoln-Way East Griffins basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Andrew Thunderbolts to 24 in the Griffins non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Griffins now sport a 20-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Homewood-Flossmoor for a SouthWest Suburban - Blue contest on Tuesday, January 23. Lincoln-Way East will battle a Vikings team coming off a 50-45 non-league win over Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 15-6.

The Thunderbolts (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, Oak Lawn triumphed over Lemont (Lemont, IL), 38-28, in a non-league contest.
