Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL), 49-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Lincoln-Way Central upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Knights travel to Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 15-2. Bolingbrook won 75-52 in their recent non-league bout against South Bend Washington (South Bend, IN)

Next up, the Thunderbolts clash with the Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Andrew will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 11-8 record after their 65-31 league loss to Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL).
