In Thursday's league outing, the Bethany Wolves (Summerfield, NC) basketball squad edged the host Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC), by a count of 34-30.

The Wolves (9-13) will now prepare for their outing against Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC). The Bobcats go into the 1A Northwest Piedmont outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, Piedmont Classical held off College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC), 71-40, in a league outing.
