Georgia High School Basketball - Byne Christian overwhelmed by Valwood
January 18, 2024: Albany, GA 31707 The Byne Christian Saints basketball team (Albany, GA), was overwhelmed 62-16 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Valwood Valiants (Valdosta, GA)
The Valiants now possess a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southland Academy for a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 battle on Friday, January 19. Valwood will battle a Raiders team coming off a 36-26 league loss to Terrell Academy (Dawson, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 5-8.
The Saints (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Peoples Baptist Academy (McDonough, GA). The Knights come into the GCAA Region IV battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Peoples Baptist Academy smashed Appling Christian Academy (Baxley, GA), 44-26, in a league outing.
