Oklahoma High School Basketball - Byng knocked off by Elgin
January 18, 2024: Ada, OK 74820 The Elgin Owls basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Byng Pirates to 45 in the Owls non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Owls now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bethany for a non-league contest on Friday, January 19. Elgin will battle a Bronchos team coming off a 81-30 non-league win over Enid (Enid, OK). The Bronchos record now stands at 10-4.
The Pirates (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Enid (Enid, OK). The Plainsmen enter the non-league contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Enid was defeated by Bethany (Bethany, OK), 81-30, in a non-league contest.
