December 9, 2023: Dale, OK 74851 The Dale Pirates (Dale, OK) basketball knocked off the visiting Elgin Owls (Elgin, OK), 60-44 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Pirates (8-0) will now prepare for their test against Luther (Luther, OK). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Luther went down by Cyril (Cyril, OK), 48-44, in a non-league test.
The Owls now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Carl Albert for a 5A District 1 test on Tuesday, December 12. Elgin will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 55-45 non-league win over Tuttle (Tuttle, OK). The Titans record now stands at 4-1.
