Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Central Virginia HomeSchool Athletic Association Patriots (Amelia Court House, VA), 54-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Virginia Episcopal School upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Bishops travel to North Cross (Roanoke, VA) to play the Raiders in a VISAA Blue Ridge bout on Friday, January 19. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 3-8. North Cross won 56-21 in their recent non-league bout against Roanoke Valley Christian (Roanoke, VA)

Next up, the Patriots play the Christchurch School Seahorses (Christchurch, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 22. Central Virginia HomeSchool Athletic Association will attempt to upgrade on its 11-9 season record. The Seahorses go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 52-22 league win over Atlantic Shores Christian (Chesapeake, VA).
