Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Hill Falcons (San Jose, CA) and the visiting Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA), saw Hill's basketball squad overcome Gilroy by a tally of 47-38.

With the victory, Hill improves its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Falcons host Independence (San Jose, CA) to confront the 76ers in a Blossom Valley - Almaden Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The 76ers come into the challenge with a record of 10-8. Independence lost 62-32 in their recent league challenge against Del Mar (San Jose, CA)

Next up, the Mustangs confront the St. Francis Sharks (Watsonville, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 22. Gilroy will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Sharks come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 48-43 league win over North Monterey County (Castroville, CA).
