The Mathews Mustangs basketball team (Vienna, OH), was overwhelmed 50-17 in Thursday's league battle with the host Pymatuning Valley Lakers (Andover, OH)

The Lakers now possess a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grand Valley for a non-league battle on Monday, January 22. Pymatuning Valley will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 34-29 non-league loss to Southeast (Ravenna, OH). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-4.
