Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the William Floyd Colonials (Mastic Beach, NY) and the visiting Ward Melville Patriots (East Setauket, NY), saw William Floyd's basketball squad wallop Ward Melville by a count of 55-31.

With the victory, William Floyd upgrades its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Colonials travel to Riverhead (Riverhead, NY) to play the Blue Waves in a Section 11 AAA-1 challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Blue Waves come into the challenge with a record of 0-2.
