Alexandria City Titans (Alexandria, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA), 50-8 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Alexandria City upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Titans travel to West Springfield (Springfield, VA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Monday, January 22. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 7-2. West Springfield lost 31-29 in their recent non-league bout against West Potomac (Alexandria, VA)

Next up, the Lions play the Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Fairfax will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Bruins go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 35-20 non-league win over South County (Lorton, VA).
