January 18, 2025: Frankfort, OH 45628 The Northwest Mohawks (McDermott, OH) basketball were winner over the host Adena Warriors (Frankfort, OH), 64-48 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Mohawks now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they host East for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. Northwest will play a Tartans team coming off a 44-36 non-league loss to Fairview (Ashland, KY). The Tartans record now stands at 3-7.
With the loss, Adena falls to 1-16 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Huntington (Chillicothe, OH) to play the Huntsmen in a Scioto Valley bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Huntsmen go into the bout with a record of 4-10. Huntington won 74-56 in their recent non-league bout against Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington (Ripley, OH)
