Ohio High School Basketball - Valley held off by Northwest

In Saturday's non-league test, the Northwest Mohawks (McDermott, OH) basketball squad got by the visiting Valley Indians (Lucasville, OH), by a score of 49-44.

Next, the Mohawks encounter the Waverly Tigers (Waverly, OH) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, December 17. Northwest will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 0-3 record after their 38-34 non-league loss to Western (Latham, OH).

The Indians (3-2) will now prepare for their test against South Gallia (Crown City, OH). The Rebels come into the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, South Gallia was nipped by St. Joseph Central (Ironton, OH), 65-53, in a non-league test.
