Ohio High School Basketball - Western victorious over Northwest

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Western Indians basketball team scored a good 70-58 triumph over the Northwest Mohawks.

The Indians (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Western Brown (Mt. Orab, OH). The Broncos go into the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Western Brown topped Wilmington (Wilmington, OH), 43-30, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Mohawks confront the South Gallia Rebels (Crown City, OH) in a Southern Ohio II contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Northwest will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record.
