In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Archbishop Hoban Knights basketball team scored a good 89-79 triumph over the Solon Comets.

The Knights (11-1) will now prepare for their contest against Walsh Jesuit (Cuyahoga Falls, OH). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 2-12 record. In their last contest, Walsh Jesuit was topped by St. Edward (Lakewood, OH), 71-55, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Comets battle the Wadsworth Grizzlies (Wadsworth, OH) in a Suburban - National contest, on Thursday, January 23. Solon will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record. The Grizzlies go into the contest with a 1-10 record after their 57-49 league loss to Stow-Munroe Falls (Stow, OH).
