The Wheeling Park Patriots (Wheeling, WV) basketball edged the visiting Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers (Buckhannon, WV), 62-58 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Patriots now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Calvary Baptist Academy for a non-league bout on Monday, January 20. Wheeling Park will play a Patriots team coming off a 72-16 league win over Cross Lanes Christian (Charleston, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 12-2.
