The Calhoun Tigers (Letohatchee, AL) basketball were winner over the visiting Central Lions (Hayneville, AL), 91-74 in Saturday's league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Highland Home for a 2A Area 5 bout on Tuesday, January 21. Calhoun will play a Flying Squadron team coming off a 62-54 league loss to Calhoun (Letohatchee, AL). The Flying Squadron record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, Central falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Lions host Ellwood Christian (Selma, AL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 22.
