The Cozad Haymakers (Cozad, NE) basketball crushed the host Centura Centurions (Cairo, NE), 80-45 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Haymakers now possess a 12-2 record. They play next when they travel to Amherst for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. Cozad will play a Broncos team coming off a 67-61 non-league win over Pleasanton (Pleasanton, NE). The Broncos record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, Centura falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Centurions travel to Gibbon (Gibbon, NE) to play the Buffaloes in a non-league bout on Friday, January 24. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a record of 5-8.
