Kentucky High School Basketball - South Laurel can't hold off Clay County
January 18, 2025: Manchester, KY 40962 Clay County Tigers (Manchester, KY) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting South Laurel Cardinals (London, KY), 63-58 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Clay County upgrades its record to 12-3 on the year. The Tigers travel to North Laurel (London, KY) to face the Jaguars in a District 49 match on Friday, January 24. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 9-6.
The Cardinals now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Williamsburg for a District 50 match on Tuesday, January 21.
