Texas High School Basketball - Memorial crushes Cypress Ridge
January 18, 2025: Houston, TX 77041 The Memorial Mustangs (Houston, TX) basketball crushed the host Cypress Ridge Rams (Houston, TX), 64-41 in Saturday's league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 9-14 record. They play next when they host Cy-Fair for a 6A Region III District 17 bout on Tuesday, January 21. Memorial will play a Bobcats team coming off a 57-54 league win over Jersey Village (Houston, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 13-13.
With the loss, Cypress Ridge falls to 7-17 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Cypress Creek (Houston, TX) to play the Cougars in a 6A Region III District 17 bout on Thursday, January 23. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 18-11. Cypress Creek won 42-39 in their recent league bout against Cypress Falls (Houston, TX)
