West Virginia High School Basketball - George Washington crushes Parkersburg
January 18, 2025: Parkersburg, WV 26101 The George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) basketball crushed the host Parkersburg Big Reds (Parkersburg, WV), 68-46 in Saturday's league bout.
The Patriots now possess a 9-0 record. They play next when they travel to Cabell Midland for a Mountain State bout on Tuesday, January 21. George Washington will play a Knights team coming off a 58-45 non-league win over Belfry (Belfry, KY). The Knights record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, Parkersburg falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Big reds travel to Hurricane (Hurricane, WV) to play the Redskins in a Mountain State bout on Monday, January 20. The Redskins go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Hurricane lost 72-62 in their recent league bout against St. Albans (St. Albans, WV)
