West Virginia High School Basketball - South Charleston overwhelms Parkersburg
January 24, 2025: South Charleston, WV 25309 The South Charleston Black Eagles basketball team scored 82 points and limited the visiting Parkersburg Big Reds to 50 in the Black Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Black Eagles now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to George Washington for a Mountain State game on Tuesday, January 28. South Charleston will play a Patriots team coming off a 68-40 league win over Cabell Midland (Ona, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 10-0.
With the loss, Parkersburg falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Big reds travel to Capital (Charleston, WV) to play the Cougars in a Mountain State game on Tuesday, January 28. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 2-7. Capital lost 84-60 in their recent league game against Spring Valley (Huntington, WV)
