January 18, 2025: Claremore, OK 74017 Sequoyah Eagles (Claremore, OK) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Ketchum Warriors (Ketchum, OK), 52-38 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Sequoyah upgrades its record to 11-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Vinita (Vinita, OK) to face the Hornets in a non-league match on Thursday, January 23. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 4-9. Vinita won 47-38 in their recent league match against Verdigris (Claremore, OK)
The Warriors now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wyandotte for a Lucky Seven match on Tuesday, January 21. Ketchum will face a Bears squad coming off a 62-49 non-league win over Miami (Miami, OK). The Bears record now stands at 5-4.
