Illinois High School Basketball - Leo holds off Northridge
January 18, 2025: Chicago, IL 60620 The Leo Lions basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Northridge Knights to 56 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Lions now have a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to Crete-Monee for a non-league game on Sunday, January 19. Leo will confront a Warriors team coming off a 60-44 league loss to Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 15-7.
With the loss, Northridge falls to 13-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to North Shore Country Day (Winnetka, IL) to confront the Raiders in a Independent School game on Wednesday, January 22. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 11-5. North Shore Country Day won 58-48 in their recent non-league game against Mather (Chicago, IL)
