Illinois High School Basketball - South Shore International trounced by Leo
December 26, 2024: Chicago, IL 60620 Leo Lions (Chicago, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they saw their basketball team crush the visiting South Shore International Tars (Chicago, IL), 75-22 in a non-league bout.
The Lions now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Unity Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. Leo will play a Phoenix team coming off a 61-52 non-league win over Taft (Chicago, IL). The Phoenix record now stands at 8-4.
With the loss, South Shore International falls to 1-11 on the campaign. The Tars travel to Westmont (Westmont, IL) to play the Sentinels in a non-league bout on Friday, December 27. The Sentinels go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Westmont lost 77-40 in their recent non-league bout against Leo (Chicago, IL)
