The Western Reserve Roughriders defeated the visiting Mapleton Mounties basketball squad by a final score of 66-54 in Saturday's league outing.

Next, the Roughriders clash with the New London Wildcats (New London, OH) in a Firelands outing, on Friday, January 24. Western Reserve will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record.

The Mounties (9-4) will now prepare for their outing against Plymouth (Plymouth, OH). The Big Red come into the Firelands outing with a 6-7 record. In their last outing, Plymouth overcame South Central (Greenwich, OH), 56-44, in a league outing.
