Illinois High School Basketball - Stevenson holds off Metea Valley
January 18, 2025: Aurora, IL 60502 The Stevenson Patriots basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host Metea Valley Mustangs to 55 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Patriots now possess a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to Wheaton-Warrenville South for a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. Stevenson will confront a Tigers team coming off a 51-38 league win over St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 13-4.
With the loss, Metea Valley falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL) to confront the Warriors in a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 3-9. Willowbrook lost 74-60 in their recent league game against Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL)
