In Friday's non-league test, the Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL) basketball squad knocked off the host Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL), by a score of 87-78.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, February 26. Metea Valley will attempt to improve on its 19-12 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 17-12 record after their 66-60 league win over Yorkville (Yorkville, IL).
